Synopsis : Following the tragic events of Avengers Age of Ultron, the massive destruction of Sokovia ,as well as the death of the former king of wakanda king T'Chaka, that ultimately led to the dissolution of Avengers in Avengers Civil War and  the claim of throne by his son prince T'Chala, who battled his cousin  in Black Panther (2018), after the event of destruction of Asgard by Hel the daughter of Odin sister of Thor in the third installment of thor , the thor Ragnarok (2017)  the asgardian ship travelling out of Asgard full of survivors of Asgard along with Thor ,Loki and Heimdall ,run out of fuel.

Asgardians send a message ,asking for help, but sadly are being attacked by the warship of Thanos, who is a mighty purple Giant, that wears a gauntlet,  aiming to gain control of infinity stones one of which he already posses: the purple power stone.

Thanos is a force to be reckoned with, as his abilities make him almost invinsible. He achieves to win Hulk in close combat ,as well as ultimately destroy the asgardian ship ,allegedly killing Loki ,after gaining control of teseract.

Thanos is obssesed with killing half the population of every planet he invades, so as to keep a kind of "balance" between people and resources. He is also obsessed ,with obtaining all the infinity stones, that were created by universe's big bang, as we're told by dr strange and wong. Thanos wears a gauntlet ,where all the infinity stones can be placed ,so as to shorten his job, of killing half  the population of the universe with his legendary snap ,that can be found in comic book Infinty Gauntlet.Heimdall uses dark magic, so as to send Hulk to Dr Strange's House, by opening a portal to Midgard (Earth).

Dr Strange Wong and Hulk are trying to persuade Tony Stark ,to contact Captain America ,as the children of Thanos (elite guards of Thanos including Proxima Midnight ,Corvus Glaive, Ebony Maw)threaten Vision  as well as Scarlet Witch. Avengers are no longer the elite unit that could win every battle ,because they no longer are united.

One group of Avengers led by Tony Stark will fight Thanos at his home planet, while the other team led by Captain America and Black Panther will fight the alien invaders at Wakanda.  Dr strange plays a vital role, as he  predicts the possible scenarios, in order to do the best he can ,to help all the avengers.

Review: Anthony Russo and Joe Russo bring a nice entertaining and comic inspired film, that achieves to make us wonder about our survival at planet Earth, where our resources are limited and the population is constantly increasing. The issue of overpopulation has been examined by various scientists, but Thomas Malthus has been critical in addressing the issue despite his solution may be or sound  a bit extreme.

But despite of that interesting aspect of addresing the problem ,the scenario lacks something in the end and it is not the endless scenes of action, that thankfully exist in this movie. It is  the conservation of the idea ,that Spider Man should not be more of a Tony stark fan boy, as it was seen in Spider Man Homecoming and not a hero that was a teenager once, but now is an adult. I mean it's a bit strange to have movie sequels of Spiderman ,where small details change like the actors and more important like plot, but spiderman is still a teen while years are passing by ...

All this death of basic heroes that actully may not be death at all but an alteration of existence is kind of troublesome. It 's a movie where there is no winner no loser ,that is actually cool as the mighty thanos can realise ,that he's powerless ,but at the same time avengers are powerless ,as they can't stop him when not  united.

At the same time it's a movie where everything seems lost, so as to exist another movie ,where there is some kind of repair. Same thing seemed to happen with Deadpool 2 ,but that s another story.

Also one thing i can't really understand, is why we get introduced in Wakanda with Black Panther ,if Black Panther was going to die in Avengers Infinity War...

As a conclusion this movie excels in addressing the issue of overpopulation as well as the nessecity of team spirit ,the lack of which can have bad effects in real life. The essential meaning of being powerless is good to exist ,as it's good to see the mighty conqueror of planets Thanos realising that all his struggle for balance surely lead him to be powerful and feared, but cost him more of what he could lose ,when at the same time it may lead to the reunion of avengers ,that would be pretty awesome.

There are however at least two points where this movie lacks.

One is by maintaining the image of Spider Man as a teen fan boy of Tony Stark not an equal hero in the mcu.

The other is the death of T'Challa, that seems odd to happen ,since there could have been at least a sequel of Black Panther judging from the box office success of the movie as well as the fact that T'Challa seemed awesome and he rightfully won a position among my favorite characters dr strange ,starlord, thor ,iron man.
