Eddie Morra the central protagonist of the film is a writer whose life is changed when Vernon a relatif gives him nzt a pill that enhances his brain, allowing him to use it completely. He uses it to finish the book he was writing in a day, despite his feeling of having a writer's block and he sets up a successful career in stock market.

Eddie Morra soon after changing his life to the best has to cope with nzt side effects :forgetfullness ,loss of sense of time...

The fight is at his hand whether to minimise the side effects of nzt ,stop it completely or end up like the other users of nzt that their life is changed to the worst.

Review: Neil Burger achieves to provide us a film that is as entertaining as possible without lacking the sophistication that can be felt in the trailer. It's not a movie about a guy that his life is changed like a tv advertisement but it's a story of a man that changed himself as well as the other around him by being limitless while knowing his limits. Despite the fact he is taking nzt that is a drug another interpretation of nzt could be the proper training to harmonizing the conscious the subconscious and the id that constitute the operation of brain. As for the 10% of the brain that is used daily it's more of an urban legend as no concrete proof exists to back it up and the utility of both the subconscious and the conscious during the day is proof that the percentage of brain used is over 10%.

The plot has its twists the biggest of which is the complete change of eddie Morra who at the beggining is a writer that can't finish his book while at the ending scene is a candidate for presidency of US dining in a nice restaurnt dressed in a costume.

I really loved the movie as it could be seen from different perspectives having different meanings producing different conclusions. For example if nzt is interpreted as drugs known as nootropics that actually help the brain operate better by enhancing memory for example like alertec the movie acts as a way to warn us and to actually minimise the bad side effects from these drugs.

If nzt is interpreted as the way that the subconscious and the conscious part of the brain operate simultanesly then this could be a warning to actually avoid using all of our brain for a long time as alluring that may be it will create problems in the long run.

Conclusion: This movie is a nice example of what science fiction along with reality can create. The plot is amazing. All the actors have great interpretations of their roles. The scenes of action the nice music at the background complete an already well thought movie that could give inspiration to the movie lucy in a more feminine version.

But the downside is that it conserves as well as Lucy the urban legend of daily use of 10% of brain.
